No Place for Hate: Triathlon Edition

September 14, 2025 | Salt Lake City, UT

Celebrating Latin Heritage Month • Moving for Kindness, Unity, Diversity and Love

Since my earliest years, movement has been my anchor. From cycling to swimming to running, I’ve carried my legacy forward with love and commitment.

Join the Journey:

This year, No Place for Hate looks different:I’m creating my own triathlon within our Salt Lake City community as a movement of kindness for our LGBTQ+ and Latin communities. Together, we move for love, compassion, and unity—especially toward ourselves.

You can:

Donate to fuel Setu Nonprofit’s mission (supporting LGBTQ+ youth, artists, and mental health)

Participate in one, two, or all three disciplines

This event is for all levels. It’s not about competition

it’s about connection,

Together we say: No Place for Hate.

Queer Queen Bee:

In the heart of our bustling world, where every element plays a vital role, there exists a tiny creature whose significance echoes across ecosystems.

The humble bee, with its delicate wings and tireless industry, is not merely a pollinator but a symbol of life itself. With each flight from flower to flower, it ensures the continuation of countless species, weaving together the intricate tapestry of nature.

Yet, just as the bee is essential to the harmony of our planet, so too is the essence of queerness to the fabric of humanity. Queer, not as a static identity confined to labels, but as a dynamic force of authenticity and empowerment. It's the courage to defy norms, to embrace one's true self unapologetically. It's a verb, an action that propels us toward self-discovery and acceptance. And that my Bee friend is POWERFUL!
